we'll be back in england once again next week.. hooray! we've got 4 shows this time, with 3 of them in LONDON of all places? the other show is on july 20th.. we'll be making another appearance at the latitude festival! loved it last year... i'm sure it'll be even better this year. george is going to stalk joanna newsome.(well probably all of us will) .. also look for quite a few local shows to spring up for us in august. i bet we'll play some baseball and basketball with our friends in august too! you're invited. whoever you are. EVERYONE is INVITED.

in other news.. tsp tv!!! i don't know what happened... a bunch of storms hit which brought snakes in our area, damaged our eyes and feet.. so we've been holding off trying to recover the past month. because of this we've lost all of our recording equipment we used for the episodes.. a value of $10,000... such bullshit! if we had $10,000 we would have just bought some new cameras and stuff but we don't so we played a couple shows in june around here and made enough money to BUILD new cameras.. anyway to make a long story short.. tsp tv is in operation once again!

A Week In England

we're flying back to london today for three u.k. dates...it's gonna be a fucking crazy week...manchester on the 15th at the ruby lounge....which i think might be some kind of strip club...is it? london on the 16th at club koko, which is where we partied after we signed with island and scared a certin nypc member away... oh and the ravonettes were supposed to play but they're not....which is sad....and last but not least, the great escape festival on the 17th, which looks very nice....and then back to detroit the next day....

Returning To The UK

Ok got the dates for our return to the u.k! First we hit our favourite place on that island… which is the one and only Manchester, Big Hands we will see you soon. Then it's down to London to hopefully be able to milk some free dinners and free drinks from our friends cause we can't even afford to breathe in that city... and then down to the coast in Brighton... which I don't know, but should be pretty nice in May... right? I don't know......yeah 15th 16th 17th...

I Dont sleep

i don't sleep anymore. my hours of operation are from 7pm - 7am.. i am backwards. down is up. up is down! i really like the 2nd half of in rainbows. it's the most beautiful sadness i have ever heard. i have paint all over my face and so does jenelle. i like brain age on the ds.. i can beat anyone in the entire world at speedy math problems..

Some UK Tour Diaries from George

9/24- arrived in London today. Rough flight from l.a. Met Jeremy and Aaron at ignition, got in a big black bus with a broken table, and took off for Scotland. Not a bad ride. The country was beautiful and the game cube kept us entertained.

9/26- finished the two shows in Edinburgh and Glasgow. We stole Isobel Campbell and drank three bottles of wine with her…Aaron and I have started a wine show, the idea is to buy a bottle of wine in every city we go to and rate them…I’m sure it won’t last all tour but we will try our hardest…the last bottle was the best. The scores looked like this: Aaron-9 george-9 isobell-8 She was the Russian judge….

9/28- gave the nme a tour of Newcastle last night. Told them all about Aaron’s characters and about his new catch phrase….”THAT”S DAMN FABULOUS!” I think it’s quite catchy…Liverpool tonight…looking forward to that…think it’s war between us and operator please. There bus is in trouble….

9/30- fucking Manchester! Beautiful to be back here. Great show at the roadhouse …sold more shit then we have the whole tour…realized everyone hates Kate Nash except for me and Aaron…met up with Grace and Dave, the fairest man. Closed down big hands. Talked to the owner about a secret show….maybe…didn’t see penny. That was a bummer. We saw her a few nights ago though. She got a new watch….ended up sleeping in the bus…what a night!

10/5- been a bit messy the last few days…not really clear on where I am anymore. Saw Owen. Had a fun night out with him on our day off in Cardiff. At least I think it was fun. It’s a wonder we’re all still here…we all ended up in different places in Bangor, and all had to find people on the street to take us back to the travel lodge…almost got stabbed at the buffalo bar…don’t think we’ll be welcome there anytime soon…..fucking hell. I don’t even know where we’re going next…

10/8- had a good show at a fire station tonight…took off for London and met up with our good friend KT LEE, with whom we went to school together and now she lives in London. Fucking strange isn’t it. Been having good late nights with Zippy, and John, and Gav. One more show to go. The tour has been fucking great. Operator please are great sports. We’ve been fucking with their van non-stop…toothpaste, we put a fucking couch on it….oh and Gav plastic wrapped our posters all around the van. Fucking great…go team are great…we broke their Frisbee. Well Jeremy did. He threw it under a truck….so it goes

have never written in the Satin peaches Blog but I have never better to do then to write a bunch of bullshit, I am sitting in my garage drinking brandy and coke and smoking cigs, I don't even smoke, well I do when I drink but not any other time does that make me a smoker? "owen morris".. he's super cool and mean and we like him. he went to cleveland with us.. cleveland was too far away. now we have to drive to indianapolis and chicago. even farther.. and no owen this time. oh no! at least we can smoke many cigarettes. why am i typing like george? oh god..

we worked on a new song yesterday while owen was sleeping that could potentially make the album cut. i like it. hopefully we can get into a studio in the before march.. we will see what happens.
